Visalia Fatal Collision on Goshen Avenue

VISALIA, Calif. (March 12, 2025) — Alonso Hernandez, 20, died and another driver was injured Sunday following a head-on crash involving a car and a pickup truck in Visalia.

The two-vehicle crash happened just after 12:30 pm between Mooney Boulevard and Demaree Street, according to ABC 30 News.

The young man was driving a black Nissan Altima eastbound along Goshen Avenue when for unknown reasons it crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

Paramedics transported both injured drivers to Kaweah Health, however, Alonso Hernandez died from his injuries.

Finally, authorities are investigating the crash and did not say if drugs or alcohol were factors.
