Suspected DUI Crash Leaves Motorcyclist Injured
VISALIA, Calif. (June 19, 2023) — A Visalia motorcycle accident happened Friday night at Cameron Avenue and West Street.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 11:15 p.m. on June 16th, according to Your Central Valley News.
Vanessa Argomaniz, 27, was driving a vehicle that made a left-hand turn in front of the oncoming motorcycle.
The rider was unable to avoid the other motorist and the two vehicles collided. The unidentified 45-year-old person riding the bike suffered a broken leg. Paramedics responded and transported the motorcyclist to a hospital for further treatment. The rider’s identity was not released.
Meanwhile, police allege the driver of the other vehicle was DUI and arrested her after the crash.
The Visalia Police Department is heading up the investigation into the Visalia accident on Cameron Avenue.
