Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Visalia Tesla Crash on Demaree Street
VISALIA, CA (August 19, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash with a Tesla on Demaree Street in Visalia.
According to an article published by the Visalia Times Delta, the accident took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 7:30 a.m.
The incident happened when the motorcycle rider was going north on Demaree Street in the city of Visalia. At the same time, a black Tesla Model Y was making a turn in the area.
Rider and Tesla Collide
Police said for an unknown reason, the two collided. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist hurt.
The patient sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police added that the airbags of the Model Y ended up deployed following the wreck.
Meanwhile, officers forced Demaree to shut down in both directions from Ferguson to Riggin avenues after the incident. The cause of the Visalia Tesla crash is still under investigation.
