Man Hospitalized After Collision at Locust Street and Race Avenue
Visalia, CA (June 14, 2022) – One person suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of North Locust Street and West Race Avenue.
According to ABC News, a pedestrian attempted to walk across the intersection near a crosswalk. Officials said a passing vehicle struck the man. The collision took place Saturday evening.
Rescue teams arrived at the crash site shortly after 8:30 p.m. Responding paramedics found the victim lying on the ground. Due to the severe condition of the pedestrian, medical personnel rushed them to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the crash.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole night. They continue to investigate liability in the pedestrian accident that happened at Locust Street and Race Avenue in Visalia.
