At Least 1 Injured in Highway 78 Crash Near College Boulevard

October 1, 2018 – Injuries were reported following a traffic collision on Highway 78 Monday morning, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Preliminary investigation revealed three vehicles collided, for reasons still under investigation, on the part of the highway near College Boulevard.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, around 7:07 a.m., they found at least one person injured in the wreck. The victim was reportedly taken to a hospital for treatment of unknown extent of trauma.
No other injuries have been yet disclosed.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine precisely how and why the accident took place.

California Highway Patrol will carry out a forensic examination of all vehicles involved, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators draw up a firm conclusion for what happened.
