1 Killed in Vista Crash at Emerald Drive and Jonathon Place
VISTA, CA (June 3, 2021) – At least one was killed after a crash at Emerald Drive and Jonathon Place in Vista.
According to an article published by the San Diego Union-Tribune, the tragic accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 8:30 a.m.
The sheriff’s department said multiple vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Vista. They crashed at the intersection of Emerald Drive and Jonathon Place.
Several Vehicles Collide Near State Route 78
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the site, north of state Route 78. They pronounced one person dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased individual remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, a witness claimed that wreck involved a vehicle and a motorcycle.
Officials then forced both directions of Emerald to close near Jonathon for a time following the crash. The cause of the fatal Vista collision is still under investigation.
