Boy Hit and Injured by Vehicle at North Santa Fe Avenue and Vista Village Drive
Vista, CA (September 2, 2022) – An 11-year-old boy suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of North Santa Fe Avenue and Vista Village Drive.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the child was walking across the intersection in downtown Vista Friday evening. For reasons still unclear, an oncoming vehicle struck the boy. The crash took place at approximately 6 p.m.
Major Pedestrian Accident in Vista
Emergency crews later arrived and found the child suffering in injuries. Paramedics rendered first aid to the victim, then transported him to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego for further treatment. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the collision appeared unharmed.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate the precise cause of the pedestrian accident that happened at North Santa Fe Avenue and Vista Village Drive.
