Pickup Truck Hits Pedestrian on SR-78/Ronald Packard Parkway
VISTA, Calif. (Dec. 9, 2024) — A pedestrian accident happened Monday afternoon on westbound state Route 78 at the vista Village Drive off ramp in Vista.
The traffic accident occurred on Ronald Packard Parkway (SR-78) at around 2:42 p.m. on Dec. 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a gray Toyota Tundra pickup truck struck the victim on the highway near the off ramp.
Paramedics responded to help the injured pedestrian, but there are no further details.
Investigators will determine fault for the pedestrian accident on SR-78 in Vista.
