1 Killed, 2 Injured in Walnut Creek Crash on 680 Freeway Monday
WALNUT CREEK (May 27, 2019) – One was killed and two others were injured after a traffic collision along the 680 Freeway late Monday morning.
California Highway Patrol said the fatal accident involving two vehicles was reported at about 11:53 a.m., north of Main Street off-ramp.
According to East Bay Times, officials reported that a black 1974 Porsche and a black Jeep SUV collided for an unknown reason on the 680 Freeway.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found the driver of the Porsche, a 63-year-old San Ramon man, unresponsive in his car as a result of the crash.
He was then transported to John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek, where he later died. The two occupants of the Jeep sustained minor injuries and had complaints of pain upon impact.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, three lanes of the freeway were forced to temporarily shut down following the wreck but were reopened by 2 p.m.
