1 Critical, 3 Injured in Collision Near Walnut Creek BART Station
Walnut Creek, CA (March 9, 2023) – Several people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Ygnacio Valley Road Thursday afternoon, March 9.
Multi-Vehicle Accident on Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek
The CBS News reported a crash involving a commuter bus took place near the Walnut Creek BART station. According to the article published online, the bus collided with three passenger vehicles. The make and model of the other cars found at the scene have not been revealed thus far.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the occupants in the cars suffering in injuries. Our sources mentioned one person sustained critical injuries, and three others sustained minor to moderate injuries. Paramedics transported all four victims to the hospitals for treatment and further evaluation.
Medical personnel also checked the conditions of all passengers aboard the bus. However, their conditions at this time remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the traffic crash happened on Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek.
