Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Moscada Avenue Saturday
Walnut, CA (February 25, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run accident on Moscada Avenue in Walnut, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
CHP logged the case on February 20, Saturday.
Initial records indicated a vehicle struck an individual in Walnut. The make and model of the car involved in the crash remained unknown.
Per accident report, the collision took place in the 1136 block of Moscada Avenue. Medical personnel responded to the location and rendered aid to the pedestrian who sustained injuries in the crash.

Authorities said the pedestrian suffered injuries as a result of the crash. At the moment, the name of the victim and the extent of their trauma remained unclear.
Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch confirmed the motorist involved in the collision fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the pedestrian accident in Walnut is ongoing.
