Rollover Crash at Wasco Intersection in Kern County
WASCO, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2024) — A multi-vehicle Wasco car accident happened Wednesday morning on Magnolia Avenue near Merced and Jack Avenues.
The traffic accident occurred in front of 17201 Magnolia Avenue at around 5:38 a.m. on Dec. 11, in Kern County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a pickup truck allegedly ran a stop sign prior to colliding with a gray Acura TSX in the westbound lanes of the intersection.
The truck overturned and began to smoke and the Acura had major front-end damage. Bystanders came to help those trapped in the truck exit the vehicle.
Paramedics responded to help those who were injured, but there were no serious injuries reported.
