At Least 1 Killed in Collision on Central Valley Highway Friday
Wasco, CA (November 19, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred on State Route 43 Friday morning.
Initial records indicated a semi truck collided with a white Nissan Altima on the highway in Wasco. According to the CHP dispatch, the horrible crash took place in the area near Taussig Avenue and Whisler Road.
Deadly Traffic Accident in Wasco, November 19
Shortly after 8:09 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the location. First responders found at least one person pinned in the wreckage. Firefighters worked extensively to extricate the trapped person. Despite life-saving measures, the victim succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate exactly how and why the fatal traffic accident on State Route 43, also known as Central Valley Highway, in Wasco happened.
