Horse Trailer Involved in Serious Crash
WATERFORD, STANISLAUS COUNTY (August 16, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a major collision was reported this morning on Highway 132 also known as Yosemite Boulevard at or near Crabtree Road.
CHP officials indicated that two vehicles were involved in the wreck which included a horse trailer which several horses escaped from afterward.
The cause of the accident remains unclear at this time as those details were undisclosed.
At least one person was confirmed to have been seriously injured with what seemed to have been a broken arm and leg, per CHP authorities.
Waterford Towing provided the towing services necessary to remove the vehicles from off the road to clear up traffic.
No further information has been made available thus far.

Authorities will examine photos that were taken of the scene as well as compiled evidence will help investigators determine the ultimate cause of the collision. Police officials will look into all potential factors including speed, the possible involvement of alcohol or drugs, or whether or not there were any mechanical issues with either vehicle.
