Major Injury Collision on Highway 1 in Watsonville
WATSONVILLE, Calif. (Nov. 19, 2024) — A major injury crash in Watsonville happened Tuesday morning on Cabrillo Highway 1, just north of Buena Vista Drive.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the northbound No. 2 lane around 6:45 a.m. on Nov. 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials responded to the crash scene where the drivers of a burgundy Dodge dually pickup truck and a silver sedan were stopped and blocking traffic lanes.
Paramedics located at least one person with major injuries who was transported to a hospital.
The vehicles had major damage from the collision and were towed from the scene.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the Watsonville crash on Highway 1.
