2-Vehicle Car Accident on State Route 1 in Santa Cruz County
WATSONVILLE, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2023) — A Watsonville car accident happened Wednesday morning on the northbound Cabrillo Highway 1, just south of Airport Boulevard in Santa Cruz County.
The collision occurred about 6:14 a.m. on Oct. 11th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch. The drivers of a black Subaru Crossover and a white Toyota Corolla were involved. One of the vehicles wound up sideways in traffic lanes.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash, but there are no further details at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Watsonville crash on Cabrillo Highway 1.
