2 Injured in Crash on San Juan Road in Santa Cruz County
WATSONVILLE, Calif. (July 12, 2024) — Two people were injured in a Watsonville crash Friday morning on San Juan Road at San Miguel Canyon Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 6:33 a.m. on July 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
A grey vehicle and a black vehicle collided due to unknown circumstances at the intersection.
Paramedics responded and located a male patient laying in the roadway. The man was conscious and breathing, the report said. Meanwhile, a woman with an arm injury was also out of her vehicle and both people required medical attention.
The man and woman were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
Tow trucks removed the vehicles from the roadway due to damage from the accident.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
