Pedestrian Injured in Car Crash at Thompson and Carlton Road Thursday
Watsonville, CA (September 27, 2020) – A suspected hit-and-run collision occurred in the area of Thompson and Carlton roads Thursday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Our sources indicated the accident happened when a motorist failed to yield to a stop sign at the Watsonville intersection. Subsequently, the vehicle of unspecified make and model struck an individual crossing the street.
The crash took place at approximately 4:40 p.m.
Responding medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian involved in the collision. Per CHP dispatch, the victim suffered injuries including wounds to their left leg. The name of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
