Minivan, Truck Crash at 240 Maher Road in Watsonville
WATSONVILLE, Calif. (April 25, 2018) – Five people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a collision between a minivan and a truck at 240 Maher Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 12:44 p.m. this afternoon, just south of Little Hill Lane. The drivers of a red Honda Odyssey and a blue truck were involved. The CHP report stated that a person in the Honda minivan suffered a broken hip and was bleeding and a woman in the vehicle was bleeding from the mouth. One of the victims was airlifted to a hospital with major injuries and four others were transported by ground ambulance to hospitals.
The crash is under investigation by police.
