Woman Seriously Injured in Watsonville Collision

Watsonville, CA (March 12, 2025) – A pedestrian was severely injured in a traffic accident on Browns Valley Road, just south of Via Del Sol in Watsonville early Wednesday morning.

The traffic accident was reported around 7:09 AM on March 12th between a vehicle and a pedestrian, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The pedestrian, later identified as a woman, was found bleeding from the head and disoriented, lying in the roadway. First responders from CAL FIRE and medics quickly arrived on scene. They transported the woman to Watsonville Community Hospital for treatment of major injuries.

Initially, there were concerns about a hit-and-run, but authorities have confirmed it was a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The exact circumstances of the incident are still under investigation.
