Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle, Hospitalized
WEAVERVILLE, TRINITY COUNTY (September 6, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a bicyclist or possible motorcyclist was struck and injured following an accident this afternoon on Court Street.
Authorities were called to the scene after the collision which transpired at 12:08 p.m. precisely.
Upon their arrival, authorities revealed that the victim was on their knees in noticeable pain requiring the assistance of emergency personnel which arrived a short while later.
The victim who was not identified was eventually taken to a nearby Trinity County medical center in unknown condition.
No details were provided on the driver or vehicle involved nor in regards to the sequence of events that took place leading up to the accident.
As of 12:30 p.m., CHP remained present at the scene.
