Big Rig Truck, Van Crash on Highway 299
WEAVERVILLE, Calif. (June 17, 2022) — The drivers of a van and a semi-truck collided Friday morning on Highway 299 near the Dollar General Store in Weaverville.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 10 a.m. on June 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials responded, along with paramedics, to help those involved.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the crash between the two motorists, but investigators are piecing together evidence and witness statements.
Meanwhile, at least one vehicle required a tow truck to remove it from the scene of the Weaverville crash on Highway 299.
