Major Injury Collision on Main Street Wednesday
Weaverville, CA (June 9, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident on State Route 299, also known as Main Street, Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual at the intersection of Main Street and Highway 3. The make and model of the car involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Traffic Accident in Weaverville, June 9
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 5:30 p.m. Responding paramedics reportedly rendered aid to a person found lying in the roadway. After they attended to the pedestrian at the scene, an ambulance transferred the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the victim and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the pedestrian accident in Weaverville happened.
