Several Hospitalized After Car Crash Near Euclid Avenue Monday
Webster, CA (September 21, 2020) – A car accident that occurred on State Route 94 in the Webster area of San Diego resulted in injuries, the ABC10 News reported.
At approximately 12:10 a.m., a black sedan veered off the roadway and drove down an embankment on SR-94. Officials said the sedan was traveling south on Euclid Avenue and crashed onto the westbound side of the highway.
Our sources indicated the incident caused a chain reaction of vehicles slamming into the back of the black sedan. Per local news source, the driver of the black sedan was trapped after the collision.
Major Injury Car Accident in Webster, September 21
Responding firefighters used the jaws of life to extricated the driver from the wreckage. Subsequently, an ambulance transported the female motorist to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
According to the news article, several other drivers involved in the crash sustained minor injuries. Paramedics transported all patients to a hospital.
The names of all the people injured in the Webster car accident on State Route 94 remained undisclosed.
California Highway Patrol is the agency handling the investigation.
