WEED, California (April 26, 2016) — A mother and four juveniles suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning in a rollover collision on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the Weed Airport, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The small white car veered off the roadway about 7:34 a.m. for unknown reasons and went about 60 feet down an embankment where it overturned onto its roof. Paramedics rushed the five injured people to Mercy hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The report does not indicate whether any other motorists were involved. Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
