PERRIS, California (September 21, 2016) – 52-year-old Wesley Erickson, of Riverside, died as a result of colliding head-on with a vehicle on Navajo Road April 10, according to an article by Press Enterprise.
Authorities arrested on Tuesday, September 20, 19-year-old Ramiro Israel Alvarado who has been involved and believed to be drugged at the time of the fiery crash near San Jacinto Avenue.
Officers said Erickson was riding his motorcycle on the southbound lane when suddenly, Alvarado, who was travelling northbound, crossed the center median and fatally struck Erickson. The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
As per the article, Alvarado was arrested on suspicion of murder and booked into the Southwest Detention Center in French Valley. His bail was set at $1 million.
