West Adams Car Crash Buckingham Road Near Homeless Encampment

6 Injured in West Adams Crash on South Buckingham Road Saturday

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 10, 2021) – A car crash left several people injured along Buckingham Road in the West Adams neighborhood.

The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call about the accident on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1 p.m.

According to their online post, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason. LAFD said they crashed at 2544 South Buckingham Road in West Adams and then impacted a homeless encampment in the area.

Multi-Car Collision Near Homeless Encampment

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of six patients ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

All six victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries upon impact. Medical personnel took three of them to the hospital for treatment.

The names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, officers forced the roadway to shut down following the wreck.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the West Adams crash.
