2-Vehicle West Covina Crash on the I-10 Freeway
WEST COVINA, Calif. (August 26, 2022) — A car accident in West Covina on the eastbound Interstate 10 happened Friday morning near the Holt Avenue East on ramp.
The two-vehicle crash occurred about 7:07 a.m. on August 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Mercedes and a Ford SUV collided due to unknown circumstances.
However, a witness told CHP officials the driver in the Mercedes was allegedly driving reckless prior to the collision.
The West Covina Fire Department responded to the scene and located one person with an injured leg from the crash.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the collision.
