Truck vs. Car Accident on San Bernardino (10) Freeway Thursday
West Covina, CA (October 1, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash on Interstate 10, also known as San Bernardino Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported big rig collided with a gray Honda Accord in the westbound side of the freeway. Initial records indicated the accident took place near the Azusa Avenue in West Covina.

Shortly after 9:15 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the wreck. According to the CHP log, at least one occupant from the Honda Accord sustained injuries as a result of the incident. The name of the victim and the extent of their trauma remained unknown at this time.
The CHP log later confirmed the big rig fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the hit-and-run crash in West Covina happened.
