WEST COVINA, Calif. (June 2, 2023) — A multi-vehicle West Covina motorcycle accident happened Friday morning on the westbound Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of the Pacific Avenue off ramp.
The collision occurred around 6:47 a.m. on June 2nd, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
CHP officials report a driver in a silver Honda sedan, a grey car and a motorcyclist were involved and were blocking the HOV and No. 1 lanes.
The West Covina Fire Department responded and treated the injured motorcycle rider for major injuries before transporting the person to a hospital. The report did not mention the gender, age or identity of the rider who was injured.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the bike and a second vehicle from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the West Covina motorcycle accident on the 10 Freeway.
