1 Killed, 1 Injured in West Los Angeles Crash Near Santa Monica and Bundy
WEST LOS ANGELES, CA (December 8, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured another near Santa Monica Boulevard and Bundy Drive in West Los Angeles.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and ABC 7 News, the tragic accident took place late Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:30 p.m. near the Brentwood neighborhood.
Police said a motorcyclist and a car collided for an unknown reason in West Los Angeles. The two crashed near the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Bundy Drive.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The motorcycle ended up mangled while the other vehicle obtained severe damage upon impact. Paramedics arrived and confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed another patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Santa Monica and Bundy to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal West Los Angeles crash is still under investigation.
