1 Killed, 1 Injured in Westchester Crash on La Cienega Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 18, 2022) – A car crash killed one person and injured another on La Cienega Boulevard in Westchester.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:28 a.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Westchester neighborhood of the city. They crashed at 6925 South La Cienega Boulevard.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
A woman ended up trapped inside her car due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and soon pronounced her dead at the scene.
A man sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the incident. Medical personnel then rushed him to an area hospital for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of La Cienega Boulevard to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Westchester crash is still under investigation.
