Vehicle Fatally Hits Pedestrian Near Brookhurst Street
Westminster, CA (July 2, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Saturday evening on Interstate 22, also known as Garden Grove Freeway, according to My News LA.
Earlier reports indicated a male party was seen walking along the center divider of the freeway Saturday evening. In the area near Brookhurst Street, a passing vehicle struck the pedestrian. The description of the car involved in the collision remained undisclosed.
The horrible crash took place around 9 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian lifeless. Paramedics sadly pronounced the man dead at the scene. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the unfortunate event appeared unharmed. Detectives continue to investigate at this time several unclear factors surrounding the fatal accident on Garden Grove (22) Freeway in Westminster.
