2 Killed, 4 Injured in Westminster Accident on 405 Freeway Saturday
WESTMINSTER (August 11, 2018) – Two were killed and four others were injured after a traffic collision on the Interstate 405 Freeway early Saturday morning, according to The Orange County Register.
The accident involving several vehicles and a big rig took place shortly after 4 a.m.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said the crash was prompted by a black Honda that was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed on the southbound 405 freeway at the Beach Boulevard off-ramp.

One of the cars involved, a white Dodge pickup truck, was found in a ditch on the right shoulder of the freeway and another vehicle was seen with visible flames.
Orange County Fire Authority officials along with the paramedics responded and pronounced two people dead at the scene. Four other people were hurt, including two critically, following the wreck.
The two trauma patients, including the suspected speeding driver, was rushed to UCI Medical Center in Orange while two other victims were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.
The names the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, authorities believed impairment played a role in the incident which remains under investigation.
