Man, 62, Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Beach Boulevard
WESTMINSTER, Calif. (June 10, 2019) — A 62-year-old Asian man was struck by one or two vehicles early Sunday in a fatal crash in Westminster.
The collision took place about 4:20 a.m. in front of Thach Hoang at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Washington Avenue, according to the Westminster Police Department. Police responded to the scene and found the gravely injured man who died before he could be transported to a hospital.
UPDATE: Pedestrian identified by Orange County Sheriff Coroner.
Police are investigating whether or not the victim was struck by one or two vehicles Sunday morning. The first driver who hit the victim stopped and cooperated with the police at the scene. There was no further information released by police about a possible second driver who may have fled the scene.
The identify of the victim was not released, but he was described as a 62-year-old Asian man by Westminster police officials.
