WESTMINSTER (April 10, 2017)- According to the Orange Coroner, Xavier Obregon, 26, of Garden Grove, has been identified as the victim injured in an auto accident Sunday evening.
The crash involved at least two cars and took place at 8:43 p.m. on the 22 freeway at the Springdale Street off-ramp.
Xavier Obregon was the driver of one of the vehicles involved and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
At least one other person was injured following the collision as it remains unclear whether the other injured party was the driver or a passenger.
The Westminster Police Department will handle the investigation and will determine the cause and release more details as to what transpired leading up to the wreck.
