Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Vermont Avenue Tuesday
Westmont, CA (January 9, 2021) – A male pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a suspected hit-and-run accident on Vermont Avenue Tuesday evening.
According to an article published online by NBC News, a man was found lying in the road unresponsive. Officials believed a vehicle of unknown make and model struck the pedestrian in the 10321 block of Vermont Avenue.
Our sources confirmed the victim suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash. First responders attended to the man, then transported him to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Because the patient had no identification on him, the name of the injured party remained undisclosed.
Authorities described the victim as having a reddish-brown beard and blond-gray hair. Per news article, the man is his late 40s to mid-50s; 5 feet, 9 inches tall; and weighs 176 pounds. Furthermore, the victim has a number of tattoos including the name “Jacqueline” on his left arm.

Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver who hit the victim. Investigators continue to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
