Man in His 30s Killed in Westwood Hit-and-Run on Sunset Boulevard
LOS ANGELES (December 16, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident along Sunset Boulevard in Westwood neighborhood late Saturday night, according to KTLA and ABC 7 News.
The collision occurred on December 15 at about 10:15 p.m., just east of Beverly Glen Boulevard.
As per the reports, Los Angeles police said a man in his 30s was struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason in the 10200 block of Sunset Boulevard.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim lying in the roadway as a result of the crash.

He succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Police believed he was a transient.
Meanwhile, the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area after hitting the pedestrian. The investigation is ongoing.
