WHEATLAND, California (Feb. 1, 2017) — One person was airlifted to a hospital following a two-vehicle collision at Spenceville Road and Jasper Lane, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about about 12:33 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. The drivers of a newer black Chevrolet SUV and a maroon sedan collided and were blocking the roadway. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Officer advised the fire chief that there was one person who was unconscious and required a helicopter to take them to a hospital. The crash remains under investigation by police to determine liability.
There were no further details provided.
