2-Vehicle Accident in Whitehawk Near SR-89
Whitehawk, Calif. (July 28, 2023) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Friday afternoon on Whitehawk Drive near State Route 89 in Whitehawk California.
The collision occurred on Highway 89 about 2:20 p.m. on July 28th, in Plumas County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A Chevrolet Suburban SUV and an unknown vehicle collided on State Route 89 near Whitehawk Drive. The crash was reported to cause blockage on the roadway. The two vehicles crashed into one another head on and resulted in one vehicle veering off the roadway. Following the collision the two vehicles were reported to be smoking. The paramedics responded to address to the possible injuries that came as a result of the accident.
Meanwhile, tow trucks arrived on the scene to help remove the damaged vehicles and excess debris from the collision.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault for the accident in Whitehawk on State Route 89.
