1 Injured in Whitewater Crash at Highway 62 and Painted Hills Road
WHITEWATER, CA (November 18, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Highway 62 and Painted Hills Road in Whitewater.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Thursday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 6:35 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Whitewater. They crashed on westbound Highway 62 at the intersection with Painted Hills Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found two people who ended up suffering from minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took both wounded parties to the Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. The report did not release the names of the patients and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of Highway 62 to shut down at Painted Hills following the wreck. The cause of the Whitewater crash is still under investigation.
