2 Injured in Whitewater Car Crash on Eastbound Interstate 10
WHITEWATER, CA (May 15, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash on the Interstate 10 in Whitewater.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident occurred on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:18 a.m.
The Riverside County Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on the eastbound Interstate 10 near the Whitewater rest stop.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then extricated one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of two people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One patient sustained moderate injuries while the other suffered minor wounds. Medical personnel soon took both of them to the hospital for treatment.
Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the eastbound lanes of the Interstate 10 to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Whitewater crash.
