Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle on Jacaranda Way Friday
Whitewater, CA (August 27, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision on Jacaranda Way, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The crash happened around 9:32 a.m.
Primary reports indicated a tow truck hit an individual in the streets of Whitewater. Officials mentioned the accident took place in the 55815 block of Jacaranda Way.
Authorities said the tow truck was pulling a 1995 Buick LeSabre. For an unknown reason, the car swung around and struck the pedestrian.
Medical personnel later arrived at the crash site. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim for an unspecified injuries. At this time, the name of the injured party and their condition remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect. Investigators continue to work at this time to identify and locate the driver of the tow truck involved in the crash.
