1 Hospitalized After Rollover Crash on Interstate 605 Sunday
Whittier, CA (May 31, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident on Interstate 605, also know as San Gabriel River Freeway, Sunday evening.
According to My News LA, two vehicles collided on 605 Freeway in Whittier at about 10:40 p.m. The force from the impact caused a gray sedan to overturn in the West Whittier interstate. The car rolled over multiple times before coming to a rest near the Washington Boulevard onramp.

Responding emergency crews immediately rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, officials confirmed one person sustained major injuries, and had to be taken to a hospital for treatment. The name of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the car accident in Whittier.
