WHITTIER, California (September 17, 2016) – 22-year-old passenger Cassandra Arango died as a result of a traffic accident at Mines Boulevard and Duchess Drive, according to an article by SGV Tribune.
The crash happened on September 17, Saturday around 4:40 a.m.
In detail, the article mentioned Arango was a passenger in a 1995 Honda Civic driven by 24-year-old male. The Honda was traveling westbound when it suddenly collided head-on with an eastbound 2015 Dodge Charger. It was not immediately known which car veered off its laneway.
The force from the impact resulted in Arango suffering in fatal trauma. Responding authorities pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Further, three other parties have been found at the crash site. The Honda driver was found suffering in major injuries, while a young man and woman from the Dodge sustained trauma of minor severity. All patients have been provided proper treatment by the paramedics.
Investigation is ongoing to determine charges and liabilities.
