Whittier 2-Car Crash Tuesday Morning
WHITTIER (June 5, 2018)– According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2-car collision left at least one person injured Tuesday at the intersection of Norwalk Boulevard and Broadway Avenue.
CHP officials disclosed the crash occurred at 8:59 a.m.
Following the collision which left one of the vehicles overturned after smashing into a power pole.
Driver Suffers Injuries After Hitting Power Pole
Wires were noted to have been dangling from the power pole which left at least one person inside with moderate to serious injuries.
That motorist was taken away by ambulance via paramedics to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The Los Angeles Fire Department, as well as Edison, were on scene resulting in the closure of both north and southbound lanes of either Norwalk or Broadway for at least an hour.
CHP officials remained present at the scene as of 10:00 a.m.
