Based on this news report, there is viable evidence that the driver of the pickup truck will be held solely responsible for the injuries suffered by three victims. While police have confirmed that the suspect was under the influence, there are still several unanswered questions here which include whether or not excessive speed or distracted driving played a role? We trust officials are looking into these and other factors in order to determine precisely what occurred here and why.
In such cases where negligence or wrongdoing may have been a factor, all injured persons involved in this collision and not held responsible will be entitled to a personal injury lawsuit respectively against the liable motorist. Victims involved in these accidents may seek compensation for damages including medical expenses and hospital bills, lost future income, and pain and suffering.
