1 Killed, 2 Injured in Whittier Crash on Workman Mill Lane
WHITTIER, CA (November 25, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured two others on Workman Mill Lane in Whittier.
According to the KTLA News and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3:15 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Whittier. The cars crashed at 2050 Workman Mill Lane.
2 Cars Collide
A California Highway Patrol dispatch described one car as a black SUV. An occupant ended up ejected from a vehicle involved as a result of the collision.
Firefighters arrived and pronounced that individual dead at the scene. A mother and a child riding in the other car survived the incident with unspecified injuries.
Medical personnel then rushed both patients to a hospital for treatment. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Workman Mill Lane to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Whittier crash is still under investigation.
