Woman Killed in Crash Near Imperial Highway
WHITTIER (August 11, 2017) – One person died in a traffic accident involving a big rig on Carmenita Road Friday afternoon, according to On Scene TV.
As per the article, the crash happened at about 3:00 p.m. when a black Chevrolet Malibu struck a rig on Carmenita Road, south of Imperial Highway.
Investigators said the Malibu came out from beneath the rig following the collision resulting in major damages to the car.

When medical personnel arrived at the scene, they located the woman driving the Malibu suffering in full traumatic arrest. The victim was extricated before being taken to Norwalk Community Hospital. Sadly, the female driver later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was provided on the condition of the rig operator.
The local police department along with the Traffic Bureau conducted a long term investigation that prompted road closures at the area for several hours.
