WHITTIER (September 8, 2017) – A hit-and-run accident occurred on Ben Hur Avenue Friday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch.

Whittier Pedestrian Accident
Responding emergency crews found at the scene the pedestrian suffering in injuries of unspecific severity.
Investigators spent the afternoon at the location determining what precisely happened but no further information has been released.
Most traffic accidents which involve a driver who flees the scene can be subjected to serious criminal charges, especially when a particular crash causes bodily injuries to another person. Such circumstances are considered as “felony hit-and-run.” In this specific case, the injured pedestrian will have the legal right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit against the suspect. We hope the hit-and-run suspect will be located and justice will then be served the soonest.
